I think in version 4.7 there should be a feature that you can merge to games together!

like in Game Maker.

DS Game Maker does not support "folders" in the resource tree so confusion may occur.

Elaboration-

Use "Open XDS in Notepad". Copy the required lines to your other project.

Merging you might be redeclaring variables etc, it pays to go through it yourself when pasting it into notepad.

If only there were shortcuts like CTRL + C, CTRL + V! Or an Edit section of the menu strip!

It's difficult. 90% of the time it won't work because:

You have global variables with the same names
You have resources with the same names

DSGM will give up if it sees one example of either of the above because it cannot go around renaming resources etc. to make it work. You must do it, making the tool pointless.

What about simply ignoring the repeated actions by hilighting them w red to show there not going to compile, until you rename them, as for resources dsgm could just import them to the other games folder if not already there, for duplicates, either place in a subfolder or ignore.

Although if an xds was read like this
(Room-1( action))
Instead of
Room action
Room action

Manual merging would be simpler
If it has four legs and is not a chair,
has wings and is not an airplane,
or swims and is not a submarine,
the Cantonese will eat it."
