Path to sprite loaded.

Perhaps display the path to the sprite loaded, something like:

He forgets where he loaded his resource from!

Try putting all the resources for the same project in the same folder.... You will not loose them then!

Original File Names

Postby Kiwi » Fri Apr 02, 2010 4:55 pm

Hello :)!

Maybe I'm blind, but I can't see the original file-names..
Example if I create a Background (in DSGM) and I open an image, ..I can rename it.., but I can't see the original file name.. So I don't know anymore what file I use.

(sorry for my english)

and now in german:
Vielleicht bin ich auch nur blind, aber ich sehe nirgends die echten Datei Namen.
Beispiel: Ich erstelle ein Hintergrund (im DSGM), öffne ein Bild und benenne es um.. aber nirgendwo steht der original Dateiname.. so kann es passieren, dass man den Überblick verliert und nicht mehr weiß welche Dateien man gerade verwendet.

You have good English- and much better than I can speak any other language!

Do you mean you would like to see the file path of an image as well as the new name you give it?
Eg: 'C:/Users/Me/Pictures/background_sky.png' as well as the name in DSGM?

Try organizing your graphics well; I put all the graphics I make into folders for that project.

Great suggestion.... Not sure why no one hasn't thought of it before.... oh wait.. I think nickydude posted something like that.......

Let me just merge your topics... Must be a bummer when English is not your first language..

The file path could be handy; but its generally long, so you would have to scroll, extend the window or span it across multiple lines likely to show it there, it'd look a bit messy.
